When I finished the maps, and showed them to my wife, her first comment was, "What part is the water?" Well, that got me thinking.On an ocean chart, the water is white and the land is yellow, so I made some changes. However, I could use some additional opinions. So, which map do you like better, the one with the colour green with white water or the one with yellow land and blue water?
(Other than the colours, the maps are identical)

I like the blue land and white water. (Sorry, the map I pulled up was blue land, not green.)
The yellow map does show the difference much better. Though I could tell the white was water on the last. It's probably better to be safe then sorry. Right?
Thanks so much for the feedback. I didn't realize that different computers displayed colour variations. (I did do a third variation of the map: white land and blue water, but I didn't like it very well.) I'll pass your comments on to my editor.
I liked the white water with blue ( even i saw it as blue ) land. You could try blue water and brown/green land too... let me know your final colour combination. :-)
