A lighthouse, two kayaks and one anniversery

Hey y'all, it's been a while since I last posted. I have been very busy with work and preparation for our 25th wedding anniversary trip - in June. I have been working on Three Seconds On, Three Seconds Off as well as on a set of kayaks for the trip.
The kayaks, when all the work is done - and it nearly is, will be a portable, catamaran style boat with a crab claw sail. I have taken a few photos, and hope to post a few when I get enough extra time to do so. When my sweetheart and I go on our trip, we plan to sail near a Pacific lighthouse. If I can get Internet access, I'll post from our location.
My writing is moving along nicely, and I am nearly finished another story. It is proving to be a tough challenge - getting all I want to say into one cohesive tale, but I think things will come together to my liking. I love to write, and the memories are sweet.
My publisher and I are fine tuning a photo for the home page of my website. It is coming soon, but not quite yet. I'll let you know.

The Last Manned Lighthouse in the USA

Hi again,
Lighthouse stories & stuff are prominent on the Internet, and a few days ago I was surfing the electronic waves next to several of them when I came across this story. It is about the last manned lightstation in the United States - Boston Harbour Light. Written by By Annie Sherman for the March 13, 2007 issue of The Christian Science Monitor, and entitled, "She Keeps The Lighthouse Fantastic", I found it to be an interesting, compelling and bitter-sweet story. A nice piece of work Annie!
